To my friend Raus, King of Rone:

Greetings from Sartar! As the anniversary of my departure from your service approaches, I thought that I would bring you up to date with regard to happenings in my life.

Shortly after arriving in Boldhome during Sea Season I met Kiri Windstorm, Thane of Boldhome. He invited Durnel and I to join a knighthood that is under his supervision. In addition, the High Priest of the Sun Dome Temple asked me to form a temple in the Greydog area, where our knighthood makes its home. On Yelmalio's High Holy Day, I was indoctrinated into the priesthood.

Due to an unfortunate occurance during a mission, Terrus Darkwind died, which allowed Durnel to be raised to the post of Frist Knight of the Order of the Storm. He has accepted the responsibilities of his post and is becoming stronger in character as well as stronger on the field of battle. We have both done well for ourselves and have struck numerous blows to the allies of Chaos.

Due to my new resonsibilities as a priest, it is unlikely that I will be able to partake of the training that you offered to me. I was hoping that instead of this training, you could provide me with the services of a skilled mason or carpenter so that I could finish the construction of my temple faster. If this is not possible, I understand. But in any case, bring me up to date with happenings in the River of Cradles Valley, and specifically the House of Rone.
