Description:

Hastaffor is usually depicted as a man in a masked hood holding a closed chest. Other races depict him as a member of their race.

Background:

Hastaffor is the patron of thieves. When the gods were creating, it was Hastaffor who went to the farthest edges of the universe and discovered the hidden secrets there, but unlike Cotrunul, he kept these secrets to himself, hoarding them until they were needed. Hastaffor spent so much time seeking out secrets that he found he had created nothing, so he snuck into the workshops of the other gods and silently appropriated many of their powers and creations.

Priestly Duties:

These priests provide worship and religious support for the Thieves' Guilds. As such, they wield great power in the guild hierarchies. Less cosmopolitan of these priests spend much of their time searching the far corners of the world for secrets...hidden treasure, lore, et al. Others serve as oracles or diviners, worshipping that aspect of Hastaffor. Hastaffor is also popular with gypsies and charlatans.
