Description:

Mergurr is depicted as a skeletal figure wielding a long sickle in one hand and holding a skull in the other. He wears a black robe with a large black hood.

Background:

This cult is not very popular, but has adherents, especially amongst those with morbid personalities, outcasts, and those afraid of death or dying.

Alignment:

Neutral.

Favoured Weapon:

Scythe.

Priestly Duties:

Priests are expected to tend to the dead, saying the proper rituals at funerals and before and after battle.

Other Limitations:

Priests have access to healing spells, but are expected to use such sparingly, and only for those who have tasks left undone or who have died before their time. They have the power to animate dead, but may only do so in dire emergencies. They do, in fact, consider undead to be an abomination and an affront to their god.
