Razkurig'il tells the PCs that Arbinda is actually a succubus in the employ of House Mercur. He advises the PCs to strike at her swiftly, lest she learn that they hold this knowledge.

The PCs and Heroes accept the offer, and they learn that the leader of these drow is none other than N'araktheel, the same drow who assisted the Heroes during the War of the Gem. She now offers them safe passage to her current stronghold for more in-depth discussion. The Heroes and PCs agree and meet with the drow matron, who explains to them the entire situation of her failed coup against the Lolth priesthood and her later attempt to establish a power base on the surface by infiltrating the trade houses of the Far Coast. With the slaying of Abrinda and the arrival of the Heroes of the Gem, the matron admits her defeat, but offers a bargain to the PCs. If the Heroes will agree, she will show them the means to access the hidden demiplane of Lolth. Having just routed and almost killed the demonlord Kostchtchie, she believes the Heroes have a chance to slay the Spider Queen. If they can do it, then she can attempt another coup of the Drow Empire and replace the greater evil of the Lolth priesthood with her own lesser evil. The PCs agree to do so, and N'araktheel returns Nemis' body to Zemeal, who can later attempt to rejoin his master's mind, body and soul.

They then arrive at the throneroom of Lolth and begin combat against her court. As they do, and they begin to win the day, Lolth herself appears. Using exotic magics, the Spider Queen is slain. Her Demonweb begins to dissolve into chaos, and the PCs flee back to Therra. There, they provide Lolth's head to N'araktheel, who returns the Crystal of the Ebon Flame to Zemeal to return to the Blood and Thought mage's guild. The drow matron then thanks the Heroes and PCs and begins her assault on the Drow Empire. The Heroes and PCs return to House Riverine and inform Barnabus and the Imperator of the results.
