A Gentle Lullabye

Introduction: The bardess Keia had twin babies, which were delivered in an emergency by Therrilliar in the Crossing bard guild. Keia then asked Therrilliar to compose a lullabye for the children, which she did on the spur of the moment.

jewel of my eye
bright as an emerald
from Illithi

Tis time to rest
and drift to sleep
on Peri'el's solace
up from the deep

Here are you safe
and here are you warm
the darkling calm
in the heart of the storm

Drift now to rest
and slumb'ring peace
in the bosom of comfort
find your surcease

For the morrow will rise
bright with the dawn
and you'll open your eyes
feeling freshened and strong
